Man Laws?

I was thinking about "Man Laws" today, and I have to wonder: Are they the absolute? Can they be personally amended? How were the representatives at the Man Table elected? And who elected Burt Reynolds?
My Point: I want to change a Man Law, but how do I legitimize it? I might risk a riot/revolution in the process of overthrowing the Manarchy, but gosh darn it, I will not be governed by the oppressive rules of the Man Table, especially regarding social situations, friends, and ex-girlfriends!

4:55...So, today was...interAWESOME! Got accepted into Bates College and Franklin & Marshall College today, bringing my grand total to 4 acceptances, along with Ithaca and Siena. Still waiting on Colby at 5 PM (5 minutes from now), and Hamilton at 8 PM, and Yale, Dartmouth, Lehigh, and Bowdoin sometime before Wednesday.

4:56...4 more minutes...I really can't stand it.

4:57...Almost...180 more seconds...

4:58...Wait, it's up!...The moment of truth!

5:00...I DID IT! 5 for 5! Colby: Accepted!

5:01...Good day to get accepted to college.

TOMORROW CANNOT COME FAST ENOUGH

Hamilton application decisions drop tomorrow night, and I cannot wait. It'll be the third college I'll hear back from and the first out of my major schools that I applied to. The others come either Tuesday or Wednesday, which are going to be the two slowest days of my life. I'm really hoping for some good news here.

Plus, now it's raining. All I want to do right now is nap until The Office and 30 Rock, then go to sleep, for tomorrow is a big day.

P.S. It's weird to think that my mailbox will hold the fate of my future within it. I don't appreciate its power enough. We ALL don't worship its almighty capacity to deliver good news and bad among the people.

Lucky Day

After a long day, I come home ot find what?

I won a bunch of Watchmen stuff from a local radio station! The grand prize was an XBox 360, but unfortunately I didn't get it. Instead, I got some MyVu Crystal Media Viewers (video glasses) and some Watchmen posters and the soundtrack, and apparently some more stuff.

Now I just have to find the time to claim it...

Boston Rules!

Had a great weekend in Boston recently. I went up for New England Swimming Championships at Boston University, where the pool and facilities were some of the nicest I've ever seen.

Just the feel of the city is electric and the air seems warm and full. The sun shines a little brighter, and anybody can feel tough if they want to. Birds sing happy songs and parents hug their children a little more.

Google Will Rule Us All

I'm a bit slow to the wonders of Google, but even still, I did not expect the multitude of things that Google can actually do.

Google Earth has evolved beyond a virtual map. I can walk down my street, go to Mars, explore the bottom of the ocean, even fly a jet across the country in the flight simulator (Ctrl+Alt+A).

Google SketchUp, as confusing as it is, has the possibility of becoming my next pet project for the next few years. I can literally start designing and building my house now and finish around the time I'm ready to buy one.

Not to mention Blogger, Reader, iGoogle, and the plentitude of other services and gadgets.

Everyone should rely on Google for everything. It's that powerful. I feel the technolust building inside of me...

New Blog!

F1rst P0st!

Just kidding.

But not.

While I have never really ever posted to THIS blog, I'm launching, in collaboration with a colleague of mine, the all-new (tentatively named) SHARPIER IMAGES!!!

It's mainly a collection of drawings created using mini-notebook paper and Sharpie brand permanent markers (ENDORSEMENT PLEASE).

It's not as much a webcomic as it is musings on life, the imagination, and pop culture in drawing form. Check it out, I guarantee it's worth at least some of your time. I may even update on here a bit more.
